The figure illustrates the structure of competence, highlighting the functional relationship between knowledge, skills, attitudes, and values as key elements in the formation and manifestation of behavior. The development of this competence is supported by pedagogical principles that create educational contexts fostering initiative, creativity, and responsibility. These include( Ministry of National Education – 2019, Early Childhood Education Curriculum): the principle of respecting children ' s age and individual characteristics; the principle of active learning; the principle of a holistic approach to child development; the principle of family-community partnership; the principle of equity and nondiscrimination; the principle of interculturality; the principle of diversity in learning contexts and situations; and the principle of continuity. By adhering to these pedagogical principles, the child becomes actively involved in learning, interacts with other children, and has the opportunity to demonstrate initiative, negotiate, make decisions, and reflect on their own actions.
Collaboration becomes a necessary condition for operationalizing pedagogical principles, facilitating the development of entrepreneurial competence in preschoolers as well as the formation of a well-rounded personality. From a comprehensive perspective, entrepreneurial competence is defined as an integrative educational structure— comprising knowledge, skills, attitudes, and values— consolidated through pedagogical principles applied in interactive educational settings. Developing this competence entails interaction, shared experiences, and a focus on responsible action. Consequently, examining best practices highlights concrete ways to apply this theoretical framework to classroom-based educational activities.
In this context, the use of digital educational environments supports the diversification of teaching strategies and the creation of interactive learning settings that foster the development of entrepreneurial competence.
eTwinning is a viable option for conducting educational activities that yield integrative, coherent, and multifaceted outcomes within the context of lifelong learning. The eight key competences are interdependent due to their transversal nature. When interconnected, they consistently foster critical thinking, creativity, initiative, problem-solving, risk assessment, decision-making, the constructive management of emotions, and social cohesion.
