Holiday habits: Myth-Busting & Data Journalism The activity engaged students in researching seasonal behaviours to uncover evidence-based truths about waste and sustainability. Starting with clear instructions provided through a YouTube video, this initiative blended hybrid creativity by combining handdrawn A5 posters with digital uploads to a collaborative Canva whiteboard. Working in multinational teams using English, participants used the TwinSpace platform to review and give feedback on each other ' s work. This international collaboration provided practical tools that boosted media literacy and digital skills while encouraging inclusive teamwork for a greener future.
SID 2026: Café Debate & Green Digital Footprint The activity brought together students to explore the environmental impact of their digital lives. Organized into four research groups, participants investigated topics ranging from solar energy capacity to the carbon footprint of everyday online activities like streaming and searching. Classrooms conducted mini-surveys to
calculate their own daily emissions and collaborated on a shared digital presentation to propose actionable habits for a " Green Manifesto." This initiative highlights how cross-border cooperation, inclusivity, and collaborative learning can empower young citizens to tackle global climate challenges together( our End- Result).
Food Podcast Creation The activity engaged students in the world of digital media by having them research seasonal food sustainability, define pressing environmental problems, and propose practical solutions. Working in pairs or small groups, participants recorded impactful podcast episodes and designed creative Canva slides to share their findings. To ensure high-quality outcomes, the teacher provided constructive feedback on their drafts, giving students the opportunity to refine and improve their work before submission. This hands-on process successfully raised climate awareness among young people, empowering them to realize the true power of their own choices and impact( results).
