A valuable experience was the online meeting with the expert from Türkiye, Doç. Dr. Nazihan Ursavaş, who contributed to a deeper understanding of topics related to environmental education. The dialogue with a specialist offered students a broader perspective on the importance of research, environmental protection, and community involvement. At the same time, this activity highlighted the European dimension of the project and the importance of collaboration between students, teachers, and experts from different fields. social media platforms such as Facebook, during the school’ s Pedagogical Council meetings, at parents’ meetings, as well as during the International eTwinning Webinar dedicated to Europe Day.
Through these dissemination activities, the school community and the wider public had the opportunity to discover students’ work, the products they created, and the messages promoted throughout the project. In this way, students became true ambassadors of sustainability, encouraging the idea that protecting the environment is a shared responsibility.
Final action – a concrete step for the planet The final product of the project was an activity with a strong symbolic and educational value: planting trees. Through this action, students understood that environmental protection is not only about gaining knowledge about nature, but also about involvement, responsibility, and taking concrete initiatives. Tree planting became a practical lesson about care, patience, and responsibility towards future generations. Children realised that every action, even one that may seem small, can contribute to creating a healthier environment.

The pedagogical value of the project From a methodological perspective, the“ Together for Sustainability” project was built on modern learning principles: interdisciplinarity, collaboration, investigation, discovery, and the practical application of knowledge.
