Communication, meetings and dissemination Regular online meetings between teachers and students helped maintain continuous communication throughout the project. Videoconferences allowed students to present their work, exchange ideas, celebrate achievements, and strengthen personal relationships with their international partners.
The project was also disseminated through different channels, including school websites, social networks, educational events, and presentations, increasing its visibility and sharing the results with the wider educational community.
Evaluation and reflection The evaluation process involved both teachers and students. Different instruments were used: student questionnaires, teacher evaluation forms, reflection activities, analysis of final products and assessment of collaboration and participation. The results showed a positive impact on students’ motivation, mathematical understanding, digital competence, communication skills, and ability to work internationally.
Teachers also highlighted the value of international cooperation, the exchange of methodologies, and the creation of new professional networks.
Evolution and impact of the project The evolution of Skills for Life: Mathematical Journey shows a clear progression: Beginning: Students discovered their partners, their countries, and the objectives of the project. Development: They moved from individual activities to international teamwork, creating shared products and solving common challenges. Final stage: Students became creators, researchers, communicators, and problem-solvers, applying mathematics to real-life contexts and demonstrating the competences developed.
The project successfully transformed mathematics from an abstract discipline into a meaningful learning experience connected with life, culture, and international cooperation.
Final reflection Skills for Life: Mathematical Journey demonstrates that mathematics can become a powerful bridge between people, cultures, and ideas. By combining mathematical reasoning, digital creativity, scientific thinking, communication, and citizenship education, the project has created an authentic European learning experience.
