Visibility of eTwinning Projects Group July 2026 Newsletter participate actively in an international society. The project represents the true spirit of eTwinning: learning together, creating together, and understanding that education has no borders.
Abel Carenas Velamazán is a Physics and Chemistry teacher and STEM coordinator at Palomeras Vallecas High School in Madrid, Spain. He is also an eTwinning Ambassador.
Adriana Mariș is a Mathematics teacher at Liceul Teoretic Coriolan Brediceanu in Lugoj, Romania and an eTwinning ambassador.

Global Book Explorers – International Book Club: Reading Through eTwinning by Monika Wójtowicz

Why this project? Reading has always been one of the most effective ways to learn a foreign language, but encouraging students to read in English remains a challenge. The idea for Global Book Explorers – International Book Club was inspired by two initiatives.
The first was my participation in the International Book Club, established in 2018 at California State University, Bakersfield( USA), as a student of English Philology at the University of the National Education Commission in Kraków. I joined two editions of the club – in autumn 2023 and autumn 2024 – reading Sitting Pretty: The View from My Ordinary Resilient Disabled Body by Rebekah Taussig and All You Can Ever Know by Nicole Chung. What impressed me most was not only the books themselves, but also the opportunity to discuss them online with readers from different countries.
The second inspiration came from my own school project,“ Book Explorers”, carried out in Poland during the previous school year. Students borrowed English books from our school library, read them independently, and completed simple book reviews. Their enthusiasm convinced
