programme and eTwinning projects). More than 250 students and teachers from Greece, Romania, Spain and Croatia participated in the event. Teacher Opačak presented the results of all five modules of the project Voices Beyond Borders( presented in the Final-Product interactive Genially image) to the international community of partners, with particular emphasis on the video message created by young eTwinners for adults and future generations.
Learning outcomes, project value and significance The project evaluation( in May and June 2026) revealed a highly positive impact on students, both in terms of their knowledge and understanding of important social issues, and in the development of their personal and communication skills. Following their participation, students demonstrated a significant increase in knowledge about European citizenship, human rights, sustainable development, cultural diversity and the role of the media in promoting peace and social values. Particularly noteworthy was the increased awareness of the importance of international youth cooperation and active civic engagement.
Through the project, participants identified concrete ways of becoming involved in their local and international communities, such as volunteering, participating in awareness-raising campaigns, engaging in media initiatives and collaborating with peers from other countries. Students evaluated the project as highly useful and engaging, and they were particularly motivated by the international meetings and videoconferences, collaborative workshops, discussions on global issues and the creation of podcasts, videos and presentations.
The value of the project activities is reflected in their interdisciplinary nature, international dimension and focus on developing key competencies for the twenty-first century. Projects of this kind enhance the quality of the educational process and empower students to become active citizens of the world who understand the importance of solidarity, cooperation and respect for human dignity.
