Skills for Life: Mathematical Journey by Abel Carenas Velamazán and Adriana Mariș
A mathematical journey towards essential Life Skills Skills for Life: Mathematical Journey is an international eTwinning project that was developed as a learning journey where mathematics became a tool to understand the world, connect cultures, solve real-life problems, and develop essential competences for lifelong learning. discovered that mathematics is not only a school subject, but also a universal language present in everyday situations such as travelling, planning, budgeting, analyzing information, making decisions, and understanding our environment.
The project involved schools from different countries, including Spain, Romania, Türkiye, Greece, and Jordan, creating an international learning community where students and teachers worked together through the eTwinning platform and TwinSpace.

The main objective of the project was to improve five key areas that are essential for students’ personal, academic, and social development: mathematical competence, literacy, scientific competence, digital competence, and citizenship skills.
