Culture Quest: Building Bridges with STEAM by Adina Veronica Godja
European education is increasingly moving beyond the traditional transmission of knowledge towards the development of key competences that prepare children for an interconnected, rapidly changing world. Critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, digital competence and cultural awareness have become essential dimensions of quality education. Within this context, eTwinning projects provide authentic learning environments where pupils learn not only from teachers but also from one another, while working together across countries, languages and cultures.
Culture Quest: Building Bridges with STEAM was created to respond to these educational priorities by combining European cultural heritage with innovative pedagogical approaches based on STEAM education( Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics).
Rather than presenting culture as historical information that pupils simply memorise, the project transforms monuments, traditions, symbols and artistic expressions into meaningful learning experiences that encourage exploration, creativity and international collaboration.
