Looking back, I believe the greatest achievement of our project was not the number of digital products we created or the international activities we organised. Its greatest achievement was the change we saw in our children. They became more curious. They became more confident to ask questions. They learned to investigate instead of simply accepting answers. They discovered that learning does not stop when the school day ends.
Ana Suciu is a primary school teacher at Patrichie Popescu Gymnasium School in Bata, Romania. She is a Scientix Ambassador and the founder of the eTwinning project“ Explorers of the Universe – Journey Among the Stars”. She believes that every child, regardless of where they live, deserves inspiring learning opportunities. Through eTwinning projects and STEM education, she strives to create meaningful learning experiences that nurture curiosity, creativity and the skills children need for their future.
Today, when I hear them talking about planets, space missions or black holes with the same enthusiasm they once reserved for their favourite games, I know that our project achieved something truly meaningful. We did not simply teach children about space. We helped them discover the joy of wondering, exploring and believing that even from a small rural classroom, they can reach for the stars.
