The impact of the project extended far beyond environmental knowledge. For our kindergarten, the project strengthened its European identity and reinforced its commitment to innovative educational practices. As co-founder of Green Hands, Cool Schools, I am especially proud that an initiative developed through international cooperation created meaningful learning opportunities for hundreds of preschool children while strengthening the reputation of our institution within the European eTwinning community.
Looking back, Green Hands, Cool Schools was never only about planting flowers, recycling paper, or observing insects. It was about nurturing compassionate, responsible, and curious young citizens who understand that caring for nature also means caring for people, communities, and our shared future. These are the lessons children will carry long after the project has ended, proving that even the smallest hands can help create a greener and kinder Europe.
