April continued our biodiversity journey by encouraging children to observe insects, plants, birds, and small living creatures in their local environment and by creating Bug Hotels for the insects. Through outdoor explorations and collaborative discussions, they discovered that every species has an important role in maintaining healthy ecosystems.
Another significant product was the Green Promises Wall, where children regularly added simple environmental pledges written on leaves, flowers, or hearts.
In May, children celebrated World Bee Day, learning about the essential role of pollinators in nature. A visit to a local educational farm offered authentic experiences where children observed animals, explored natural habitats, and understood the relationships between plants, insects, and humans. These activities reinforced environmental awareness while creating joyful memories connected to direct contact with nature.
Throughout the school year, several collaborative activities connected all partner schools. Online meetings allowed children to introduce themselves, sing songs, present national traditions, and share their environmental projects.
Together we created a collaborative European story inspired by nature, where each country contributed characters, illustrations, and ideas reflecting local experiences and developed and refined it with the help of AI.
