Regarding professional learning, I participated in a webinar led by Robert Poole on ecological wellbeing. During the session, participants shared project ideas on a Padlet. My contribution was an idea to explore the Red List of Threatened Species and to create an eBook presenting selected endangered animals and ways to protect them.

I also completed two MOOCs: How to Transform Social and Emotional Learning Through eTwinning and Turning News into Civic Engagement in the Classroom. Both courses provided valuable inspiration, practical ideas, and new perspectives for future eTwinning projects and classroom activities.
Participating in a professional group of educators can be incredibly rewarding. Beyond supporting individual growth, participation in this network can enrich and extend international projects by creating deeper professional connections and shared learning experiences. Rather than focusing solely on the completion of a project, educators can engage in ongoing dialogue, reflection, and cooperation across schools and countries.
Eszter Kovács has been teaching at a Hungarian secondary school since 2001. 2020 marked a new beginning for her professional development – she began engaging in international learning communities such as eTwinning, Education for Climate, and the European Digital Education Hub( EDEH). The four pillars of her professional life are learner-centered education, openness to innovation, curiosity, and connectivity.
Ultimately, this experience highlights the power of collaboration and the value of being part of a vibrant professional learning community. Special thanks to the two amazing group administrators, Daniela Bunea and Michał Siwkowski, for their inspiring work.
