their leadership, organisational, and public speaking skills.
The project further enriched students ' learning through direct interaction with professional journalists and fact-checkers. The Media literacy seminar with experts from stopfals. md and Independent Press Association provided valuable insights into the challenges of combating misinformation in contemporary society and introduced students to practical verification techniques used by media professionals. These encounters bridged the gap between academic learning and professional practice, reinforcing the relevance of media literacy in everyday life and inspiring students to become more responsible consumers and creators of information.
Throughout the implementation process, reflection remained an essential pedagogical component. Following each activity, students documented their learning through written reflections, selfassessment tasks, peer feedback, and collaborative discussions. Teachers also evaluated progress continuously through observation, digital portfolios, presentations, and project products. This systematic reflection enabled students to recognise their own development while encouraging them to set new learning goals and appreciate the value of collaboration.
Project outcomes and impact The F. A. K. E. – Fact. Act. Know. Empower. project demonstrated that media literacy can serve as an effective context for developing the skills for life promoted by the eTwinning annual theme. Beyond producing learning materials, the project enabled students to become critical thinkers, responsible digital citizens, and engaged members of an international learning community.
The project ' s most tangible outcomes include three collaborative artefacts: The Fact-Checkers ' Guide: Media Literacy Explained, The Book of Media Literacy Games, and The Awareness Campaign Toolkit. Developed jointly by students from the three partner countries, these products remain valuable educational resources that support media literacy education and encourage responsible participation in digital environments.
More importantly, the project fostered significant personal and academic growth.
