Personal highlight : I played well in virtually every event I entered . While I struggled with my putting , especially over the last few months of the year , I was consistently competitive and hit the ball very well from tee to green . This will be a year I will always look back on with mixed emotions for what kind of season it could ’ ve been if I had just putted a little better .
Golf goals for 2024 : While I have already started this process , I am going to spend the winter remaking myself into a good putter again , and I hope to be even more competitive next year .
Best club in your bag : I think I am a pretty good driver of the golf ball .
Must play course you haven ’ t played and / or a “ dream ” destination golf trip ? There are certainly many courses on my bucket list , and I would love to go to Scotland to experience golf over there , however , as a William Flynn fan if I had to choose one course , it would be Shinnecock Hills .
What is a fun fact no one knows about you ? My golfing buds have affably penned me with a number of nicknames over the years . At last count I think the total was approaching 10 . Some of my favorites — that can be revealed in polite company — include Clueless and Clumsy ( courtesy of Keith Decker , I think after I locked us out of our hotel room for the second consecutive night ), Tug ( an acronym for The Ultimate Grinder ), Xerox , GPS ( for my inherent ability to get lost ), BMW ( for the ultimate driving machine ) and the Mortgage Ninja .

• No . 1 in VSGA Super Senior Player Rankings
• Won three events : the Signature Invitational , the Two Rivers Invitational and the RGA Super Senior Four-Ball ( partner Jim Woodson ) and finished second or third in seven other tournaments , including four VSGA Championships
