Personal highlight : While it has always been a dream of mine to play in a U . S . Open and competing against all of the incredible Hall of Fame major champions at the Senior U . S . Open was an incredibly surreal experience , I think the highlight of my year probably was the VSGA Senior Women ’ s Amateur . When I had to make a hole-in-one on the 9th hole to take my first lead of the match , I felt like all the stars aligned en route to win my fourth title .
Golf goals for 2024 : For 2024 , I hope to find even more consistency in my ball striking and putting . I would like to return to the Senior Women ’ s Open . I would like to put up another solid performance in defense of the VSGA Senior Amateur . I would like to finish in the quarterfinals or better at a USGA championship .
Best club in your bag : In 2023 , I have to give it to my 50-degree wedge only because I made the hole-in-one with it .
Must play course you haven ’ t played and / or a “ dream ” destination golf trip ? Scotland is still my “ dream ” destination for a golf trip . But , having watched the women play Pebble Beach this year at the U . S . Open , I would definitely add Pebble Beach to my bucket list .
What is a fun fact no one knows about you ? I might actually be a little superstitious . This was the year of 3 ’ s for me . Before the final round of the VSGA Senior Amateur I took a Titleist 1 and a Titleist 3 to the putting green . I gave each a chance to make a claim to play . And I made more putts with the # 3 ball than the # 1 ball . It had convinced me it “ wanted to play .” As I went to tee it up , I also had the thought that it was so fitting that I could make my 3rd hole in one with a # 3 ball , and I was convinced that it was going to go in . It did !! Do I really believe in the power of that kind of thinking ? Well , maybe I do .

• No . 1 in VSGA Senior Women ’ s Player Rankings
