DAY 1
MORNING: GRAND DUNES RESORT CLUB—Positioned on a
high bluff overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway and offering great
views, this rolling, links-style design has big undulating greens with
seven holes bordering the water.
Rolling topography and water tests
golfers acumen at Grand Dunes
Resort Club.

AFTERNOON: PINE LAKES COUNTRY CLUB—Just a short trip
down Route 17 is “The Granddaddy,” Myrtle Beach’s first course
that dates to 1927 and is the only course in the state on the National
Registry of Historic Places. After a $15 million renovation to the
layout and clubhouse five years ago, Pine Lakes has reclaimed its
Jazz Age glory.
BELOW: Those craving adventure will
get their fill at Myrtle Beach Jetpack
Adventures.

ADVENTURES—Jetpacks aren’t just the stuff of 1960s science fiction;
now you can actually try one. Tethered to a hose, most first-time flyers
power up and out of the water in just minutes.
EVENING: Nothing pairs up with golf better than a good steak,
and the area’s best is New York Prime, where the thick cuts are aged
a minimum of four weeks and the fresh Idaho baked potatoes weigh
a pound each.
