Feature Caravan Miss Adelaide W O R D S & P I C S L I S A M O R A Having admired Deanna’s gorgeous display at previous events, the cute little 1960 Sportline she calls “Miss Adelaide” with its white picket fence and pink flamingos was an obvious choice for Best Caravan Display at the recent Leyburn Sprints Vintage Caravan Show. Deanna is a hairdresser with a real knack for creating the ideal vintage/ rockabilly look and is always sporting a gorgeous swing dress and victory rolls in her hair (with a splash of pink) whenever I see her. The collection of retro items on display inside Miss Adelaide reveals that she also shares a passion, as so many of us do, for all things retro. The cheery yellow and white interior is decorated with a floral chenille bedspread, crocheted cushions and pastel coloured canisters along with an impressive assortment of genuine vintage bric-a-brac.
