often attend shows together with their
immaculately restored caravans parked
side by side.
“My son has been into cars and cars
shows since he was eleven”, Deanna tells
me. “When he was thirteen we joined our
first Car Club the MOCQ and at fifteen
years of age he purchased his first Mini
(a 1963 windowless mini panel van
which he still has today) along with ten
other cars. Over the years I became Club
Captain for several years and we joined in
on more and more car shows”.
Deanna noticed that over the years
more and more vintage caravans were
becoming a feature of a lot of the car
shows. As a lover of the music, look and
lifestyle of the 1950s and 60s, Deanna
was able to convince her family that they
should get a caravan themselves. But the
process of procuring the right van proved
