The JESUS film has been shown dozens of times in villages in Ghana and throughout Africa to share the story of Jesus ’ life . to give their lives to Jesus . 4 ) The local leaders then follow up , organizing the new believers to get involved in a church or small group .
The method is simple yet powerful . The JESUS film is now available in more than 2,000 languages ! Many of the villages where I travel are 80 percent illiterate . Watching this movie is the only way some people ever hear the Gospel , since they cannot read it for themselves . One person who viewed the film wrote to me : “ This tool is very helpful in the village because people see it in their own language .” Last year , this region of the VCP ministry saw 13,769 Africans give their lives to Jesus and 382 churches planted ! Praise God that our team was able to play a small part in that ! I am so grateful that he sent the heavy rains and floods so that we could reach this particular village with the Gospel .
