Caleb Shipman: A moment I enjoyed was in 8th grade. We had a Valentine’s party at my house. There
was dancing and the house was highly decorated. It was very fun. I plan to go to William Carey
University and study Graphic Design. After that I am not sure. I suppose I will see where God takes me.
Débora Estefany: My most memorable “incident” at Mountainview was during Secondary Retreat in my
Junior Year. I remember being so cold that I didn’t have much energy at night. The breezy air was totally
draining “all my strength” out. The best part of it was being around a fireplace once again. After 3 years,
I really have to get used to cold air again because in the next stage of my life, I am going back to Brazil at
the beginning of the winter. I plan to work in Brazil, learn how to drive, and enjoy the company of my
family and friends, whom I miss so much.
Doohee Yang: My most memorable experience at Mountainview was the one day holiday because of a
volcano eruption during my ninth grade year. Although it ruined the mood of Valentine’s Day, I
experienced something new. The whole campus was filled with snow-like white ashes. Due to the white
dust, the entire girl’s dorm hanged out in Biztro for two days in a row. As for my future plan, I am going
back to Korea for college to study nursing.
Hannah Jusuf: I will be studying in Los Angeles, pursuing a degree somewhere in the Chemistry field. I
hope to get enough sleep, find balance between social life and studying, and make the most out of these
four years of my new chapter. The most unforgettable memory I made at Mountainview was doing the
Indonesian birthday tradition for Minseo Jeong with a group of people: throwing flour on her and
breaking an egg on her head. It was a risky act because Minseo is really sensitive to smell and she HATES
getting dirty. We ended up doing it anyway after a lot of hesitation because it’s the only one time I could
do something like that for her birthday. Thanks to everyone who joined the fun- I had a great time being
a savage that afternoo
