SeHyun Kyung: Well, I attended this school since first grade so there are many memories to choose from. I guess one of my most memorable experience is winning the Basketball IISSAC 2017. It was the first banner of my life and I cannot forget the moment when the buzzer rang. I remember Everyone was crying, jumping around, and hugging each other; I really cannot forget that atmosphere. I am currently planning to study math, specifically either Math Education or Applied Math and Science in either Korea or America. Daniel Town: Winning IISSAC was definitely one of the best memories I’ve had. In the future I’ll be in Pied- mont International University, North California. Minseo Jeong: My fave memory-- TA time with my fave Mas Yo. My plan for the future-- to succeed in life. Gihyun Ahn: Soccer tournaments and IISSAC’s! Oh, I still remember the 5 on 5 soccer tournament during my 9th grade year, that was held on the week that I came to Mountainview. My shoes were flying and I was slipping all the time, but I still enjoyed the games we had. It was special to me because it was the day that I got to know my classmates better. As for the varsity team, the three years that I have participated as a manager, player, and strategist were all valuable memories and experiences to me. I thank all my coaches and teammates who made these experiences special. Despite the injury that I had during IISSAC, I loved being part of the team. I always struggled from ligament injuries on my ankle, thigh, and knee, but now I am glad that I’m not eligible anymore for the army! After graduation, I will be going to UC Davis or back to Korea to study Engineering. Cindy Lee: I hope to study more on business and economics for the next four years. The years after that are still in uncertainty and all other my plans are quite boring so I have a rather interesting story to share. Back in elementary, my class of seven went on a hiking trip to find a waterfall. The first attempt made in 5th grade was unsuccessful due to heavy rain and uncontrollable boys getting lost in the mountain. I clearly remember not using an umbrella in case the lightning hits us and singing worship songs with the abandoned girls (ahem Ritisha). The following year, we took on the waterfall adventure once again and managed to actually reach it! We swam in the pool below the waterfall and into a cave hidden behind it. What an adventure! I would never do something like that ever again. On the way back, we basically slid down the river all the way and I managed to rip my pants. Shout out to the Bryans who allowed us to experience an unforgettable journey to the waterfall. Layout by SeHyun Kyung 12
