Story of My Life
:
SENIORS
What is your most memorable incident you experienced in Mountainview?
What is your plan for the future?
Seong Chan Cho: Well, not exactly a “Mountainview” memory, but it was when I had a “small-group” with
some of the seniors from Class of 2014. I remember going to a big soccer field uphill at the back of
Indomaret, and we played with fireworks there. I remember Caleb Shipman brought a bag of cylinder
looking fireworks, which I thought was just a small flame-throwing candles. At first, we all gathered around
to watch the flame come out, but it actually turned out to be a dynamite-type firecracker. Its explosive range
was around 10 meters, and we were all very frightened. Then, I thought of a great idea. I suggested throwing
up the firecracker right in time so that it explodes in mid air and we’ll get to enjoy a pretty firework in the
sky. However, I threw it up too soon, so it dropped to the ground and rolled under a car parked nearby,
then it exploded right under it with the owner just right in front of us. , We were so terrified, we ran for our
lives, I remember that was the fastest run I’ve ever had in my life. Although we still got caught, it was very
memorable. I plan to take up in Nursing in Michigan after I graduate, and I believe I will go to military after
completing my first year in college.
Aria Sider: Having a double win at IISSAC is one of my most unforgettable experiences at MCS; and I will
be going to Guelph University in Canada, majoring in Zoology
Kairos Loya: It’s funny how the incidents that come to mind are mostly negative. Well, no, it isn’t that
funny. But if I had to pick one to be published it would be that one time we won the X-Country IISSAC for
guys and girls twice in a row; beat that, basketball and soccer. No one really cared about it except us, but it
made me really happy to be part of such an incredible triumph. There are many other “incidents” (funny
word choice) which I remember fondly. Times with friends and teachers, talking about deep stuff and all the
things that are too boring to be recorded here but that made me happier than winning those banners. I will
be attending some college somewhere and will be majoring in history. Furthermore, I hope to get my
teacher’s license and teach.
Aryo Bismo: The most memorable experience I’ve had in Mountainview was when our class went on the
senior trip. The whole experience was very memorable to me. Being able to bond and get to know people
better was what made that trip incredible. For college, I am going to either Denmark or Australia, ‘coz I’ve
been accepted into the design program in both places.
Audrey Wasito: In the next four years I’m planning to study communications in either New York or Los
Angeles. I’m pretty excited to open a new chapter of my life and to see what the future has to offer.
Wherever I end up, I hope to take any opportunities that comes my way, make lifelong friends, and
basically, roll with the punches. One of my most memorable incident throughout my years in Mountainview
was during my junior year. It was when my friend and I, along with a group of people who we didn’t really
knew grew closer as we sat around the pool. Our conversation was just so great it got to the point in which
one of us started tearing up! That evening I truly learnt so much about my friends. Oh I love them so so
much….
