Stefanie Tan( Kohl’ s BFF)“ Challenge, Curiosity, and Creativity” Stefanie finds her Biology field trip to Karimunjawa Island in her Junior year as the most memorable experience. As she leaves Indonesia, she will miss her parents’ delicious desserts and her Mountainview friends along with the motorbikes, mountains, fresh air, and Bu Wati’ s chicken in Salatiga. She is looking forward to the classes that she will take in college. Stefanie wants to travel around the world in the near future.
Abigail Robertson( G odl y Example)“ Be the change you want to see.” This basketball star in Mountainview will long remember the moment when she scored the winning basket in Surabaya for IISSAC basketball during her Senior year. In Salatiga, she will miss her friends, her dog( Gidget), and Indonesian food such as Bu Wati’ s chicken and Soto. She hopes to meet new people in college, but worries about getting used to the hard classes and professors. In 20 years, she will likely be in a foreign country doing relief projects.
Sung Hyun Ryu( Mean Korean)“ Follow your dreams, do what you love” Sung Hyun finds his biology trip to Karimunjawa as an unforgettable experience. He will miss his friends such as KyuHo, Micah, and George along with Indonesian food. He looks forward to a new atmosphere along with a new group of friends. However, he is unsure how he will adjust to the new environment. In 20 years, Sung Hyun is most likely to be in South Korea’ s capital city Seoul working for a company.
Michael Watanabe( Honest Friend)“ Don’ t waste your time.” The most memorable event in Mountainview for Michael was his class trip to a water park for his classmate Jonah. He will miss the great people at Mountainview and its beautiful campus. He hopes to make even more friends and enjoy the freedom of being a college student. However, he knows that there will be a big workload and chances of meeting weird people in college. He will be working at an engineering firm in 20 years.
George Waters( Curious George)“ Don’ t hesitate to ask questions, if you don’ t understand something” George enjoyed his Senior trip to Bali with his classmates. He will miss playing soccer with the Toffees, a team consisting of him and his classmates. George is expecting a fresh start in college, but is worried about his survival. George is unsure of his future plans. He predicts either Angela or Stefanie will be the first person to get married in his class.
Kaleb Parks( Vanilla Thunder)“ Take school seriously but enjoy yourself and don’ t get too stressed” In his Senior year at MICS, Kaleb was thrilled to win the basketball IISSAAC and watch the MICS girls win the championship in double overtime. He enjoyed his time in Indonesia eating Asian food and speaking Indonesian to others. He will miss the diverse community in MICS and his motorcycle. He is looking for ward to study in Hardin-Simmons University where he will have delicious Mexican food. However, he needs to get used to being surrounded by white people in America. In 20 years, Kaleb wants to be a missionary overseas in Asia”
Micah Thornton( Funny Fat American)“ Study Hard, Play Hard, Do Hard Things” Micah also cherish his Biology trip to Karimunjawa when he was a Junior. He will miss his friends, school, Indonesian food, his dog, and his house. He looks forward to the new atmosphere, but he is worried about paying his college tuition. In 20 years, Micah predicts he will be either in South Korea working for his classmate Sung Hyun Ryu or in the U. S working as a Biologist. Among his classmates, Micah expects Angela and Kenny to get married first.
