Cavendish Community Calendar Seeks Photos
For more than 20 years , the Cavendish Community and Conservation Association has produced a community calendar featuring photographs taken by Cavendish / Proctorsville residents of Cavendish / Proctorsville scenes . The theme for 2025 is “ Cavendish : Resilient and Strong .” Photos of landscapes , buildings , people , and animals within Cavendish will be considered for publication . All photographs will be displayed in the Cavendish Fletcher Community Library ; the public will be able to vote on their favorites during the last week of May . The purpose of the calendar is to bring a greater appreciation and sense of pride about the town , which is the foundation of conservation and good stewardship .
Whether you are a full-time or a part-time resident , this is your chance to capture a sight that you appreciate and share it with the community . The deadline for entries is May 21 . Re-Imagining South Londonderry Meeting
Residents and interested citizens are invited to a community meeting on April 24 at 6pm at the Londonderry Town Offices to “ reimagine South Londonderry .” The Londonderry Planning Commission has engaged consultants Stevens and Associates to develop a master plan for Londonderry ’ s South Village . Stevens and Consultants will review the scope of the project area , its goals and objectives , and seek community input and wishes for the South Village . Vermont Steak House Night is back ! The Pinsonneault family invites you to attend this annual fundraising dinner to benefit Bennington ’ s Cancer Crusaders , Turning Point Center of Bennington , and Vermont Elks Association State project Silver Towers camp for people with disabilities . This will be held at the Bennington Lodge of Elks , 125 Washington Ave . on April 26 . Dinner – choice of rib eye steak with homemade onion rings and potato or parmesan crusted chicken with rice pilaf . Dinners include soup , relish tray buffet , and dessert .
