SUSAN FISHER HUMPHRIES’ 70
Susan Fisher Humphries’ 70 studied elementary education at Villa Julie College. During her time at Villa Julie, Susan met her best friend Allyson— later the namesake for her daughter. For more than three decades, Susan skillfully taught kindergarten in Harford County. Even as her family grew over the years, Susan never forgot her alma mater. Her daughters Lauren and Allison both attended athletic summer camps on the Greenspring campus. Eventually, both followed in their mother’ s footsteps and became Stevenson alumnae. Susan remains a devoted alumna and inspires others to remain connected to Stevenson. For nearly 10 years, she has served as the Storytime Reader during the Alumni Association’ s annual Breakfast with Santa event, and she is among the first to volunteer for events when asked.
