Created by combining federalism and feminism in an original way , Femmes pour l ’ Europe was born in response to a period of individual and collective crisis . It is the attempt of a woman engaged
university professor of Russian literature , a well-known anti-fascist who , like Colorni with whom he was a companion in struggle , paid with his life his commitment in the Resistance . Like Ursula , Natalia also lives the experience of confinement ( in Pizzoli , Abruzzo , from 1940 to 1943 ) as the wife of an anti-fascist with the aggravating circumstance of the racial reason . The 1970s were the years of a renewed political commitment that culminated in the election to Parliament as an independent on the PCI list . She died in Rome on the night between October 6 and 7 , 1991 .
