I think people owe it to themselves to be successful at doing what they love. More importantly, you owe it to yourself to learn how to do this! Don’t say you are a ‘this’ or a ‘that’ unless you are willing to learn how to better yourself. That’s where the posing comes in. There are too many people that are in this town that self-profess to be the best this and you never boast yourself if you’re really that good, other people will do it for you.

The great graphics, the great advertising - that is not the result of what you do. The result of what you do is the money you are making from it and the amount of people who come to see you. The amount of people who by your tickets, that buy your work, that help spread the word.

Many professionals will tell you that keeping your mind fresh is the way to true success. What do you think?

DAN:

What do we do when we are hungry? We eat. What do we do when we are tired? We sleep. When we feel out of shape, we exercise but people hesitate to feed their minds. I think part of it is that some people just don’t want to be told the way to do it. They think they have it figured out. There is always something to learn. I am living proof of that.

As well as we are doing it is never enough. I am always so interested in finding out what can we do better, who can we talk to, who can we watch. I watch webinars online all the time because I want to get better and better and better. We had a spike where we reached over 7 million people in 13 days. And you want to know how we did that? It blew my mind that this was even possible.

(Currently Drum Talk TV is reaching an AVERAGE of 40 million people a WEEK)
