ADNOC awards major offshore EPCIC order to LTEH
Matrix wins refinery tank farm contract
L & T Energy Hydrocarbon Offshore has secured an ultra-mega engineering, procurement, construction, installation, and commissioning order from ADNOC Offshore for a major offshore development in the Middle East. The project will be executed through a consortium arrangement, with L & T Energy Hydrocarbon Offshore( LTEH Offshore) serving as the lead partner. The scope covers |
engineering, procurement, construction, installation, and commissioning( EPCIC) of multiple offshore facilities, along with the upgrade of existing facilities. A significant portion of the fabrication work will be carried out at L & T’ s fabrication yards, drawing on the company’ s integrated EPCIC capabilities and its track record in delivering large and complex offshore developments across the region. |
Matrix Service Company has been awarded the front-end engineering and design( FEED) of a storage tank farm for America First Refining’ s largescale refinery in Brownsville, Texas. America First Refining( AFR) describes the facility as the first new major refinery to be constructed in the United States in more than 50 years. FEED award is described as a major step toward AFR reaching a final investment decision. The storage tank farm is intended to support the refinery’ s operations by providing infrastructure for the movement and storage of feedstocks and refined products. AFR has said the facility will be engineered to process 100 % American light shale oil and will produce Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel, jet fuel, and specialized gasoline.
Cheniere exports 5,000th LNG cargo
Cheniere Energy has reached substantial completion of its Corpus Christi Liquefaction Stage 3 Project( CCL Stage 3) in Texas and has exported its 5,000th LNG cargo from its US Gulf Coast operations. Completion of CCL Stage 3 was achieved on 28 August 2026, when Bechtel Energy, Cheniere’ s engineering, procurement, and construction contractor, transferred care, custody, and control of the seventh and final train to Cheniere. The project expands Cheniere’ s LNG production capacity by over 20 %, bringing total capacity to approximately 56 million tonnes per annum. The 5,000th cargo milestone was marked by the loading of the Yari LNG carrier, which departed Sabine Pass, Louisiana, on 29 August en route to Asia. Cheniere said it has reached the 5,000-cargo milestone faster than any other LNG producer worldwide. Since its first LNG cargo in 2016, the company has supplied more than 340 million tonnes of LNG to markets globally, with its LNG platform representing over 10 % of total global LNG capacity.
