Petrobras awards Halliburton contracts
Halliburton has announced that Petrobras awarded multiple contracts to provide vessel stimulation, intelligent completions, and safety valves in Brazil’ s deepwater fields after a competitive process. In the Búzios field, Halliburton will deploy its SmartWell ® intelligent completion technology to enable real-time reservoir management and actionable insights to optimise production. For the Séepia and Atapu fields, Halliburton will provide EcoStar ® electric tubing
retrievable safety valves( eTRSV) to improve the safety and efficiency of this project. Additionally, Halliburton’ s Stim Star Brasil, tailored for Petrobras activity, will deliver stimulation services that focus on reservoir productivity and improve asset performance. These contracts are expected to begin in 2026 and highlight Halliburton’ s expertise in completions and its focus on delivering comprehensive solutions tailored for challenging offshore operations.
Velan awarded CAN 20M valve order
Velan Inc. has been awarded a valve order exceeding CAD 20M from Ontario Power Generation( OPG) to supply Emergency Cooling Injection( ECI) valves for three reactors being refurbished at the Pickering Nuclear Generation Station, one of the world’ s largest nuclear facilities. These critical valves, rated ASME
III class 1, represent the highest standard of safety and reliability in their category. Velan supplied the original valves over 45 years ago and has continuously supported Pickering through its construction and refurbishment program. The first shipment is scheduled for January 2027, with subsequent
deliveries to be completed by January 31, 2028.“ Velan is proud to continue our partnership with OPG, supporting Canadian nuclear innovation and advancing CANDU technology,” said James Mannebach, CEO.“ This order reflects our commitment to safety, reliability, and a

Simmonds, headquartered in Vergennes, Vermont, is a global designer and manufacturer of fuel
& proximity sensing and structural health monitoring solutions for the aerospace and defence end markets. The company’ s products are highly engineered, proprietary components with significant aftermarket content and a strong presence across major aerospace and defence platforms.
AMPO POYAM VALVES has successfully completed and delivered a fully integrated subsea valve system for a leading company in South America. The complete ISS system( Integrated Smart Solution) enables compressed air passage under the sea, off the coast, and was designed, manufactured, assembled, and tested in Idiazabal to
meet the client’ s demanding requirements. The system includes six highly engineered subsea ball valves installed 365 meters from the shore and 25 meters below sea level, operated by hydraulic actuators. The system offers three operation modes: remote control from the client’ s control room, local control panel operation, and manual mode.
