Malema M-3100 series ultrasonic flow meter
INNOVATIONS & SOLUTIONS
Malema, a brand of PSG, a Dover company, and a provider of flow measurement and control instruments for the semiconductor and industrial sectors, has launched the Malema™ M-3100 Series Clamp-On Ultrasonic Flow Meter. Engineered for precise fluid velocity measurement in liquidfilled closed conduits, the M-3100 Series is a high-performance, noninvasive ultrasonic transit-time flow measurement system, ideal for demanding semiconductor applications. The M-3100 Series leverages the performance of an M-3100T Transmitter and an M-3150S Clamp-On Ultrasonic Flow Sensor to create an advanced flow meter that can be installed on a closed conduit without disrupting the flow path. This design eliminates the risks of leakage or contamination in challenging applications. The M-3100 Clamp-On Ultrasonic Flow Meter is engineered with advanced non-contact sensors that eliminate the possibility of contamination while providing highly reliable flow measurement accuracy of ± 2 % and repeatability of ± 1 %.
Danfoss next-gen AxisPro proportional valve
Danfoss Power Solutions has announced the launch of its next-generation Level 1 AxisPro ® valve. With a new
digital amplifier and support for industry-leading network protocols, the valve offers advanced performance, control, and seamless connectivity. Complementing the valve’ s launch is Pro-FX™ Configure v2, the redesigned software configuration platform featuring an intuitive interface, streamlined setup, and realtime tuning for faster and easier
installations. AxisPro valves are ideal for demanding industrial hydraulic applications such as presses, machine tools, factory automation, and more. Designed for seamless integration into a wide range of applications, the new valves feature a digital amplifier and support for widely used network protocols such as Profinet ®, EtherCAT ®, Ethernet / IP, and
CANopen. The digital amplifier increases precision and improves tuning, enabling easier system optimization and enhanced performance. Through flow linearization, the valve delivers consistent, stable flow across all operating conditions. Dither and deadband adjustments eliminate valve stick-slip and dead zones, resulting in smooth and precise motion.
IMI hits 750 th EroSolve Wet Steam order milestone
IMI’ s EroSolve Wet Steam solution has crossed the milestone of 750 orders from power and process plants across the globe. The EroSolve Wet Steam solution protects turbine by-pass valve internals from condensate erosion, especially during initial plant start-up. It improves valve performance by optimising droplet impingement angles and using erosion-resistant materials to extend the lifespan of valve trim components. This solution has been effectively applied in various power and process plants, resulting in enhanced efficiency and lower operational costs. Wet steam is formed during power plant start-up primarily due to insufficient drain, improper pre-warming, and incorrect operational logic within the plant. This issue is often difficult to fix without addressing the plant’ s design and layout. The valve trim upgrade is a novel way in which the plant can operate more efficiently without having to upgrade or redesign the whole system. www. valve-world. net Valve World December 2025
