Enbridge to build USD 700 million Gulf of Mexico pipelines
Enbridge Inc will construct and operate crude oil and natural gas pipelines in the U . S . Gulf of Mexico to support bp ’ s Kaskida development . The USD 700 million project is expected to be operational by 2029 . The Canyon Oil Pipeline System will comprise 24-inch and 26-inch pipe with a 200,000 barrels per day capacity , connecting the Keathley Canyon area to Shell Pipeline Company LP ’ s Green
Canyon 19 platform . The 12-inch Canyon Gathering System will transport 125 million cubic feet of natural gas daily , linking to Enbridge ’ s Magnolia Gas Gathering Pipeline . The long-term contracts include options for bp to connect future Paleogene portfolio production . Both pipelines are designed to accommodate nearby discoveries . Detailed design and procurement will begin in early 2025 .
Flowserve completes acquisition of MOGAS Industries
Flowserve Corporation has completed its acquisition of MOGAS Industries , strengthening its position in missioncritical severe service valves and aftermarket services . The USD 305 million cash transaction includes a potential earnout payment . Scott Rowe , President and Chief Executive Officer ( CEO ) of Flowserve , welcomed the MOGAS team , noting that the acquisition aligns with the company ’ s 3D strategy and will enhance their valve aftermarket business . He emphasised plans to expand MOGAS ’ severe service portfolio and aftermarket services globally by leveraging Flowserve ’ s industry presence .
