Seeq signs a strategic partnership with AVEVA
Seeq has established a strategic partnership with AVEVA to
integrate
their
industrial
software
platforms ,
enabling
improved operational data access for chemical , energy , metals , mining and utility organisations . The partnership centres on connecting Seeq ’ s Industrial Analytics and AI Suite with AVEVA ’ s CONNECT industrial intelligence platform . This integration allows Seeq users to quickly access operational data through CONNECT , while
AVEVA customers can utilise Seeq ’ s analytics capabilities for enterprise-wide monitoring and analysis . The collaboration aims to accelerate data-driven innovation across operations , including multi-plant monitoring , energy data exchange , research and development collaboration , and emissions data transparency .
COVNA introduces IoT-enabled valve control system
COVNA has implemented its first IoT-enabled electric valve solution , offering enhanced control capabilities compared to traditional electric valve systems that require complex wiring and dedicated control panels . The solution combines a compact , durable electric valve with advanced IoT functionality , enabling remote monitoring and control through both traditional panels and a mobile application . The system aims to simplify valve management across industrial automation and residential Heating , Ventilation and Air Conditioning ( HVAC ) applications . The development marks COVNA ’ s entry into smart valve technology , providing users with improved accessibility and operational efficiency through digital control options .
Aalberts integrated systems for data centers
Aalberts integrated piping systems ( IPS ), a producer of advanced integrated piping systems for the distribution and control of liquids and gasses , is highlighting three unique products with durable , resilient and chemical-resistant designs that make them ideal for data center applications . These products are ideal choices when building a data center due to their versatile sizing options , robust durability , and bi-directional
sealing , which ensures reliable performance in critical cooling , HVAC , and fire suppression systems . The “ Apollo ” ® LD / WD 141 seated butterfly valve features a durable UV-resistant epoxy powder coating that resists a broad range of chemicals . The “ Apollo ” ® 70 series bronze hose cap and chain ball valve offers several versatile installation options for different piping connections , including national pipe taper ( NPT ) or solder end hose thread . The “ Apollo ” ® 215 L highperformance butterfly valve features a double offset design that provides improved sealing and reduced wear compared to concentric designs . Its blowoutproof shaft is made of 17-4 PH stainless steel , which offers high strength and good corrosion resistance , and is designed in accordance with the API 609 standard .
INOXPA inaugurates new plant in India
US electricity demand set for significant growth
United States electricity demand is expected to grow between 4 and 15 per cent through 2029 , according to Wood Mackenzie ’ s latest Horizons report , marking the highest increase since the 1990s . The surge is driven by three key factors : data centre development , with 51 Gigawatts ( GW ) of new capacity announced since January 2023 ; resurgent energy-intensive manufacturing , particularly in battery , solar and semiconductor production , adding 15,000 Megawatts ( MW ) of demand ; and increased electrification of transport and heating , with electrolyser connections potentially contributing 7,000 MW through 2030 . The report , “ Gridlock : the demand dilemma facing the US power industry ”, highlights challenges for utilities in adapting to uneven demand distribution , with individual utilities potentially facing higher growth rates due to large single-load impacts .
INOXPA Group has inaugurated the new INOXPA India Pvt . Ltd plant . This investment underscores the group ’ s commitment to expanding its global manufacturing capabilities and improving operational efficiency . The new plant is located on a site of 32,000 m 2 , with 22,000 m 2 of construction area . This includes
17,500 m 2 for the factory and 4,500 m 2 for office spaces and services . INOXPA designs and manufactures hygienic valves and fittings for food-processing , chemical and pharmaceutical industries . The new plant consists of two main production buildings : Shop # 1 , dedicated to production , raw material
processing
and
scrap
management ,
and
Shop
# 2 ,
used
for
warehousing ,
solutions ,
assembly
and
dispatch
operations .
The
facility will allow INOXPA to
increase production capacity ,
centralize operations , improve
employee working conditions ,
and strengthen the brand ’ s
presence in the region .
