Burckhardt Compression Acquires ACT, Strengthens Local US Service Capabilities
Burckhardt Compression has completed the acquisition of Advanced Compressor Technology( ACT), a service company specializing in reciprocating equipment for the downstream market in the U. S.
The acquisition supports Burckhardt Compression’ s growth strategy in the U. S. by expanding its services network close to downstream customers and by adding component manufacturing to its local capabilities. With locations in Batavia, Illinois, and Pasadena, Texas, ACT holds a strong position in key sectors including fertilizer, industrial gases, petrochemical, and refinery.
“ This will enhance our ability to support downstream customers through local spare parts manufacturing and broader service coverage,” says Rainer Duebi, President of the Services Division at Burckhardt Compression.
Bray International Announces New Valve Automation Center in Guatemala
Bray International announced a new Office and Valve Automation Center( VAC) in Guatemala. The location serves as a key milestone in supporting customers across Central America and the Caribbean.
According to the company, benefits of the facility in these regions include increased local inventory, rapid delivery, customized automation solutions, expert technical support, and on-site training and workshops. It will also drive operational resilience, talent development, and innovation in the flow control industry.
