FloWorks Enhances Portfolio After Acquiring U. S. Southwest Distributor
FloWorks International— a distributor of critical flow control products— has acquired Slater Controls LLC.
The transaction marks FloWorks’ sixth acquisition since Wynnchurch Capital acquired the majority of its ownership in 2023 and reinforces a continued execution of FloWork’ s mergers and acquisition( M & A) strategies.
Slater Controls is a distributor of valve automation, instrumentation, and relief valves with locations in Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona. The company serves a diverse customer base across various process industries.
According to Floworks, Slater Controls will“ enhance its product portfolio, expand its geographic reach, and create beneficial cross-selling opportunities.”
IMI Achieves 750 Installations of its EroSolve Wet Steam Solution
IMI’ s EroSolve Wet Steam solution has crossed the milestone of 750 orders from power and process plants across the globe. This highlights the real-world engineering capabilities of a product developed through IMI’ s Growth Hub.
The EroSolve Wet Steam solution protects turbine bypass valve internals from condensate erosion, especially during initial plant startup. It optimizes droplet impingement angles and uses erosion-resistant materials to extend the lifespan of valve trim components. The valve trim upgrade ensures that the plant operates more efficiently without having to upgrade or redesign systems.
The EroSolve Wet Steam solution can be applied to any valve that manages high-pressure or high-temperature steam.
