you immerse yourself even more
into pushing the limit of your
playing ability. After the final horn
and shot has gone off and all the
players roar with excitement and
exhaustion of putting their name to
the test, you walk back with your head
held high knowing you have done what
some may not be able to do.
well aware of what lies ahead and
our grins lay from ear to ear.
The battle is like none other and
the intensity if that of something
you have been longing for. From
laying in the thick brush waiting for
your next target to come by, to pouring
out your load roar as you charge Sim City.
Your life will forever be changed when you
feel the ground rumble as you see your team
pull out and all run when a tank comes rolling in on you and you try to find even the
smallest branch for cover as everyone
yells “AT, AT, TANK, TANK”. Then
watching the courage as a whole
crew stand up and make a wall
for the volley of paint that
lay before them, so that
moment comes when the
AT takes out the tank and
200 or so players scream
with excitement as they
retake their so hard
fought ground back.
From then on, at the final
ceremonies as everyone
gathers around, you feel
as if you are apart of
a big family. Immersing yourself with your
fellow paintballers
and reveling in their
joy when they receive
their awards and accolades. From the youthful
to the young at heart, there
is a place for everyone. It is a
rewarding experience and as you feel the sun
on your back waving good bye to all the friends
you have made, memories you will remember
forever and you leave knowing full well
tomorrow is only 364 more days till FULDA!
By the end of the day
when the final bang goes
off, you will be so excited
to sit with everyone at the
camp and share the stories
of the game and your adventures on the field. Solidifying
friendships that will last throughout
the years to come. A time to relax and
enjoy some food or party with some music
to keep your tired feet moving.
I’ll see you on the field

The following morning, your sore body has
taken as much punishment as you think you
could handle and yet you get up the following day and do it all over again. If I had
to categorize this game for someone who
hasn’t played paintball, I would have to call
it Tuff Mudder with Guns! The exhilaration is
what pulls you further in the game and when
you see your teammates needing your help
