HOA UPDATES GRAND SEAS - DAYTONA BEACH, FL www.exploriaresorts.com/destinations/grand-seas/ After safely evacuating all resort guests and team members by Saturday, September 9, the resort was closed up for the arrival and passing of the storm and was then reopened to the resort operations clean up team on Tuesday, September 12. And after a thorough review and documentation of damages conducted by professional assessors, the resort will remain closed until further notice to make necessary repairs. Damage to the roof and unit windows facing the beach have been identified along with damages caused by water intrusion in the units. Confirmation by our insurance carrier is pending. Grand Seas resort operations teams have been working round-the-clock cleaning up public spaces which will also require refurbishment. These areas include the mini golf course and general grounds. The newly remodeled lobby, Tiki Bar, and recently reopened Loretta’s Beachside Cafe sustained little to no damage and remains fully intact. Once restorations are completed following Hurricane Irma, it is anticipated that Grand Seas will be better than ever!
