ALIANZA NACIONAL DE CAMPESINAS unifies the struggle to promote farmworker women’ s leadership in a national movement to create broader visibility and advocate for changes that ensure their human rights. Alianza Nacional works at the intersection of gender, migrant, labor, and climate justice. Alianza Nacional de Campesinas brought together more than 130 farmworker women in person and more than 30 virtually for its fifth National Convivencia( convening) in Washington D. C. from April 15-18. They generated recommendations and shared solutions about the exploitative and unfair working and living conditions that farmworker women are forced to endure. The convivencia is not simply a conference. Instead, by coming together, Alianza communicates, reaches agreements on complicated issues, and makes recommendations for future work. Members participated in 20 workshops focused on Alianza ' s four priority areas, which include ending gender-based violence, environmental justice; including eliminating the misuse of pesticides, ensuring labor rights and promoting a comprehensive and inclusive immigration reform with a pathway to citizenship.

ISHA L ' ISHA FEMINIST CENTER- GUN FREE KITCHEN TABLES works at the structural – state and municipal – level for small arms disarmament in Israel. In Israel today, handguns and rifles are proliferating in exponentially rising numbers. The widespread sense of abandonment by the state after the October 7th Hamas massacre is being channeled into the acquisition of guns, strongly encouraged by the Minister of National Security. Israel’ s Palestinian citizens are already suffering record murder rates( 221 so far this year, almost 90 % of them shot). Civilian armament imperils women of all backgrounds and rising numbers of women are already terrorized by the prospect of firearms in their homes. As the conflict escalates, groups addressing gender-based violence are reaching out to GFKT staff, frantic for strategies and advice. GFKT has become a hub for intensive knowledge building, extending far beyond the 19 member organizations of the GFKT Coalition.
