The 4th Annual Students Medical Conference
Organized by medical students in collaboration with the Emirates Medical Students Society( EMSS), students from all UAE medical colleges convene for a three-day conference.
UOS hosted the annual Emirates Medical Student Society( EMSS) conference this year entitled“ Today’ s students … Tomorrow’ s Doctors” from 14th to 16th November 2009. EMSS was established in 2006 to be the official organization representing medical students of the UAE. It is affiliated with various NGO’ s for a variety of activities, including UNRWA in Lebanon, AID in Motion, Salaam Baalak Trust, I Volunteer
Foundation and Médecins Sans Frontières. It is also currently a candidate member in the International Federation of Medical Student Associations, which works in affiliation with the World Health Organization and the United Nations.
