What Causes Tight Hip Flexors? It’s a vicious cycle. One that’s super easy to break. I have to acknowledge that there are some people who jog, lift weights or hit the gym like twice a day. That’s good and all (and I actually commend them a lot), but most of these conventional workouts will still not target your hip flexors. This is why even though you might spend a lot of time exercising, you still find it hard to move freely or to assume certain positions.
