Imani Johnson Perceptions in the # MeToo Era The purpose of this study is to explore and analyze how the recent # MeToo movement has shaped the mainstream public perception of sexual assault and rape . Using a survey to collect the data , I analyzed both quantitative and qualitative responses to see if the # MeToo movement has changed the way we think and define sexual assault .
Aubrey Jordan An Evaluation of the Use of Narcotics Dogs The study aims to find out what factors may influence an individual ’ s perception of the use of drug-sniffing dogs . Through quantitative and qualitative research , this study will attempt to understand why someone may hold these views or what they value when holding these views .
Abigail Kennedy Analysis of Public Awareness of Human Trafficking in the United States This is a presentation that analyzes what the general public in the United States knows about human trafficking . The data is analyzed to determine whether or not the information that the general public has is accurate . A secondary analysis will be conducted on the origination of the knowledge for those who responded to the survey .
Michael McKenney An Evaluation of the Perception of Corrections in 2021 This presentation will serve as a verbal and visual analysis of a survey conducted at the beginning of 2021 . The purpose of this survey is to investigate what factors may have an influence on how someone perceives the corrections system as well what the individual believes it should accomplish .
Garrett Meister Correctional Officers Working in Opposite Gender Prisons This presentation will be about correctional officers working in prisons that house inmates of the opposite gender . Certain aspects that will be focused on are job competency and satisfaction . The goal was to see how correctional officers feel about their coworkers of the opposite gender and if their gender affects job performance .
Nicole Michaels Public Awareness on Cyber-Crime Scams This presentation of my study aims to create awareness for the public on cyber-crimes that go unnoticed . Simple things that an individual does online , such as talking to a stranger or purchasing an item , can have horrifying consequences . This research study encourages individuals to think twice when interacting with strangers or spending money on the Internet to prevent future crimes from happening .
