Another unconventional alternative to a traditional bathroom
vanity is to use an old metal desk in place of a store-bought
vanity. Cut a hole in the top of the desk that has been measured
to fit your sink. If necessary, cut another hole in the back of the
desk that will be used to allow for proper plumbing hookups for
the sink. Once the sink is fitted and installed, the metal desk can
be painted in a variety of colors to match your bathroom's color
scheme or left as is to lend a more urban and edgy look.
