LEFTOVER WOOD
For those who consider themselves handy,
leftover scrap wood can be used to build a
bathroom vanity underneath an already
installed or newly bought sink. Start by
measuring how far off the floor the sink will
stand and measure the wood accordingly,
making sure to leave an inch or two for
leeway. The wood does not have to match
exactly for this style to work, as mismatched
shades will lend an earthy and country look
to your bathroom. Once all of the pieces
have been measured, assemble the wood
to your liking and then secure with the
appropriate materials, which will include
nails and wood glue. Be sure to coat the
material with a wood glaze or stain to
protect the wood from warping as a result
of moisture.
