6.Track your calories – this ones simple, eat less calories then you burn and the only way to know this is to track them!

7.Eat more lean proteins – protein helps build muscle, think white meats, Greek yogurt and soybeans. They are low in calories and high in protein.

8.Drink plenty of water – water helps to flush out the unwanted toxins in your body and keeps you hydrated, drink up!

9.Cut out alcohol consumption – most alcohol is full of calories and carbohydrates putting weight on instead of burning it. If you really must have a drink, opt for a red wine, full of nutrients.

10.Eat slowly – this one is important. Most people don’t take time to enjoy their food and eat it way too fast. This means your body does not have time to recognise that it is full and results in overeating.
