This course provides an analysis of the consumer decision process and customer experience design strategies in the market place . Special emphasis is placed on the external and internal influences on the consumer including the effects of demographic , social and psychological variables . Topics include developing strategies , variations in behavior , changing societal values , consumer perceptions , learning and memory theory , consumer motivation and attitudes , selfconcept and lifestyle issues , information analysis , post purchase management , organizational buying and marketing regulations .
