Is there one particular moment from your career that stands out? That has got to be the final of the World Championships in 2011/12, I played my best darts all through with some tough games, it’s a pity I did not win but maybe next time, I will never give up trying. You are yet to win a major title although your current form would suggest it is only a matter of time before you do. But do you still have the same motivation and desire to land your first major that you did when you first started out in the sport? I am more motivated now than when I first started, then it was a case of try and do well and climb up the rankings, but now I really believe I can win one as I feel I am up there with the best and can play as well as any other player on the day. What would it mean to you to secure a first major? Photo: Mike Glover/UK Darts Magazine It would mean everything to me to win a major, it is the only thing at the moment I have not achieved so I will keep on going until I do it, then I will say ‘I have won one now go on and win more.’ Thanks once again for taking the time out to talk to us, we wish you all the best over the coming months as the World Championships approaches.
