You have participated in the last two Premier League seasons, what has it been like to play darts in front of an unprecedented number of people? Do the fans help or hinder you with their enthusiasm and noise levels? I just love the large crowds and the noise it makes for a great atmosphere it’s great if you can get the audience on your side. It helps me to concentrate more, you have to with all the noise. Bring on another year I would love to do it again, just have to keep working hard to get there. Do you think your animated style on the oche has helped to endear you to the Premier League audiences? The large crowds love to see a great show that is what they pay their money for, so you want to give them that along with a good game of darts and they love it. I hope that I have made a few more fans along the way. Your success over the last couple of years seems to have coincided with a more aggressive attitude on the oche, is this something you try to deliberately bring to the fore or are we just seeing your passion for the sport when you are competing at the top level? You are seeing my passion for the sport, but also I need the aggression to motivate me it is what I play off, the more aggressive the game the better for me. I have had some great games with MvG and Adrian Lewis as we bounce of each other I think its a case of who can shout or growl the loudest, it’s great and I love these sort of games as I can put everything into them. I would like to say that I am not like that really its just seems to come out of me when I play, my wife says I am a big teddy bear really. Do you have a favourite PDC tournament? I love Blackpool as do many of the other players, it’s the whole package, great venue, great crowds and all the best players, but the best one has to be the World Championships this is the event that all the players strive to play in all year long so to get there means that you have done the best you can to be in the greatest event of the darts calendar.
