Embracing Diversity
UK Coaching is fully committed to ensuring diversity, equality and
inclusion are at the heart of our culture.
We are committed to being an
organisation which is more
representative of society, with
a more enriched and diverse
workforce. We strive for gender
parity. 50% of our members of staff,
and 50% of our Board are female;
and 25% are from black, Asian and
minority ethnic backgrounds.
All staff are responsible for driving
our equality work. In addition,
UK Coaching has three Equality
Champions including a Board
member, Lizzie Broadbent, whose
role it is to advocate the importance
of equitable practice and to support
the implementation of UK Coaching’s
key equality and diversity projects.
Through our development work,
we strive to ensure Great Coaching
benefits a more diverse audience
with specific learning programmes
aimed at black, Asian and minority
ethnic (BAME) and disabled coaches.
We also work hard to ensure
imagery represents a diverse range
of people to ensure everyone feels
welcome.
