Respecting Privacy and Safeguarding Data
We believe information about people belongs to them, full stop. We are
merely custodians of that data and we will always respect that privacy.
Our preparations for GDPR started 18
months ahead of the deadline of May
2018. While the principles of GDPR
are largely the same as previous data
protection legislation, what goes on
behind the scenes is hugely different.
Data documentation listing every
piece of data we collect, a data
minimisation process, our data
protection policy, data breach
procedures, new privacy policies and
much more were all in place ahead of
May 2018.
There are four things to remember about the
way we handle data:
1. We don’t harbour any secrets when it
comes to how we use personal data. It’s all
set out in our privacy policy.
2. We put people in control. People can
change their settings at any time in the ‘My
Privacy’ dashboard.
3. We only store the personal data we need
to fulfil requests and achieve our goal of
more Great Coaching.
4. We invest heavily in security to keep
personal information safe.
