Si Eun (Lucy) Kwon
My home country is Korea and I have been attending an IB school for 7
years - since I was 4th grader.
For my personal project I have produced a poster about promoting Korean
Thanksgiving Day in GZ, China. I have learnt time management skills by
organizing the project by myself. In addition I developed my research skills
by learning research methods, which made me to look at wide range of
sources, not just the Internet.
By doing Personal Project, I found out what I am interested in, which is
learning about different festivals in different cultures. The things that I
learned are useful for me in my everyday life as there will be lots of projects
that need to be handled in future.

Antonia Moreno Olivares
My name is Antonia Moreno, I am a 16-years-old, Colombian girl who loves
to talk. The personal Project is an opportunity to do what you love and to
explore your interests. I am interested in the future of women, of an independent and happy woman, who loves herself and is aware that she is
worth it, a woman who fights against the judgments of the sexist society
and understands that it is a fundamental right to love herself, despite her
imperfections. But for this to happen, we have to change the way of thinking of the women of the future: the teenagers of the present. My final product is a video on YouTube that shows teenagers, their opinion of the society and that they are beautiful, just being themselves.
