Jing Chen (Kyoshin) Yu For my Personal Project I chose “Endangered sharks in the world” I have two reason that why I chose this topic: Firstly, I initially has interest with sharks. Secondary I wanted to know how the declining number of sharks would affect to today’s our daily life. Based on researching, I investigated couple of unknown facts about endangered sharks: What endangered sharks are, why they are exposed to danger, what we can carry out to be a part of helping them…etc. and I put all of those information within a video which has approximately 4 minutes length. I am targeting to give a audience awareness about recent situation of endangered sharks through the video in Personal Project. Maya Demirtas My name is Maya Demirtas and I was born in the capital of Turkey, in Ankara. From a very young age, I left my own country because of my fathers’ job. He works in the consulate, meaning we have to leave the country that we are living in every two years. At first, this was very hard but as I got older I got used to it. Throughout my life I have lived in Shanghai, Hong Kong, Taipei and Ankara. Currently, I am living in Guangzhou, China. I did my personal project based on cyber bullying. My goal was to heighten awareness for everyone and about the things it can lead to. I think my personal project can affect peoples’ way of thinking. It is also for supporting and giving useful tips for the victims of cyber bullying, and for the bullies.
